Description

White Christmas Sangria is a crisp, festive holiday drink that blends dry white wine, apple cider, fresh cranberries, apple slices, orange, and cinnamon into one easy recipe that feels perfect for Christmas parties, winter gatherings, and holiday food ideas. This quick party drink is one of those easy entertaining recipes that looks elegant, tastes bright and cozy, and gives you simple holiday drink ideas with very little prep.


Ingredients

1 bottle dry white wine

2 cups apple cider

1 cup fresh cranberries

1 apple thinly sliced

1 orange thinly sliced

2 cinnamon sticks

1 cup sparkling water or ginger ale

ice for serving

2 rosemary sprigs optional for garnish


Instructions

1. Wash the cranberries and thinly slice the apple and orange.

2. Pour the white wine and apple cider into a large pitcher.

3. Add the cranberries, apple slices, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks.

4. Stir gently, then refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to let the flavors blend.

5. Right before serving, pour in the sparkling water or ginger ale and stir gently again.

6. Fill glasses with ice, spoon in some fruit, and pour the sangria over the top.

7. Garnish with rosemary sprigs if desired and serve cold.

Notes

Use a dry white wine so the sangria stays balanced and not overly sweet.

Add the sparkling water or ginger ale only before serving so the drink keeps its bubbles.

For the best flavor, chill the sangria at least 1 hour before serving.
