Description

Bring a little fun to the table with this Valentine Snack Board, a festive and easy recipe loaded with heart-shaped mini pizzas, fresh veggies, creamy cheese, and snackable bites everyone will want to grab. It is perfect for a quick lunch, easy dinner, party appetizer, holiday snack board, or fun food idea when you want something cute, simple, and full of variety.

Ingredients

2 tubes refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup pizza sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup mini pepperoni

1 cup mozzarella cubes

1 cup carrot sticks

1 cup strawberries

1 cup crackers

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.

3. Place the dough hearts on the prepared baking sheet.

4. Spoon a little pizza sauce onto each heart, leaving a small border around the edges.

5. Top each heart with shredded mozzarella and mini pepperoni.

6. Brush the outer edges lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

7. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are lightly golden.

8. Let the mini pizzas cool for a few minutes.

9. Arrange the mini pizzas on a serving board with mozzarella cubes, carrot sticks, strawberries, crackers, and extra pizza sauce.

10. Serve right away while the mini pizzas are still warm.

Notes

Use small toppings so the heart-shaped pizzas keep their shape and bake evenly.

Bake the mini pizzas just before serving so the cheese stays soft and the crust stays tender.

Fill empty spaces on the board with extra fruit, crackers, or veggies to make the presentation look full and balanced.
