Instructions
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into small crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
2. Add the butter or olive oil, then stir in the diced onion and green bell pepper. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
4. Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick, rich, and glossy.
