Description

This One Pot Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a rich, creamy, easy recipe that brings bold garlic flavor and cheesy comfort to the table fast. Perfect for a quick dinner, easy dinner upgrade, cozy food ideas, and simple homemade sauce nights, it pairs beautifully with pasta, chicken, vegetables, or bread for one of those versatile dinner ideas you will want to make again and again.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan or deep skillet over medium heat.

2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute to form a smooth roux.

4. Slowly pour in the chicken broth while whisking constantly until smooth.

5. Stir in the heavy cream and let the mixture warm for 2 to 3 minutes.

6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese gradually, whisking until fully melted.

7. Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

8. Simmer gently for 2 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

9. Remove from the heat, stir in the parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest texture and best flavor.

Keep the heat moderate so the garlic stays fragrant and the cream does not separate.

Add a small splash of broth or cream when reheating to loosen the sauce back to a silky consistency.
