Description
This Ninja Creami Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Ice Cream is a creamy, high-protein frozen dessert that tastes like a peanut butter cup in scoopable form. It is an easy recipe for anyone looking for healthy snack ideas, quick dessert ideas, easy protein treats, homemade ice cream, chocolate peanut butter desserts, and smart food ideas that still feel indulgent.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups chocolate protein shake
2 tablespoons peanut butter powder
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
1 tablespoon peanut butter
Instructions
1. Pour the chocolate protein shake into a Ninja Creami pint container and add the peanut butter powder, cocoa powder, pudding mix, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
2. Whisk the mixture until completely smooth, then level the top.
3. Freeze the pint on a flat surface for 20 to 24 hours until fully solid.
4. Process the frozen pint on the Lite Ice Cream setting.
5. If the texture looks crumbly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk and run a re-spin cycle.
6. Make a small well in the center, add the mini chocolate chips, and run the Mix-In cycle.
7. Scoop into a bowl and top with peanut butter before serving.
Notes
Freeze the pint completely flat so the machine can spin it evenly.
A re-spin with a small splash of milk gives protein-based pints a much creamier texture.
For stronger peanut butter flavor, add a little extra peanut butter powder instead of more liquid peanut butter.
