Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tsp all-purpose seasoning (or blend of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper)
4 tbsp butter (divided)
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
8 oz linguine
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
Salt, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season and Sear the Chicken: Pat chicken dry, cube it, and toss with seasoning. Sear in 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat until golden, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from pan.
- Make the Lemon Butter Glaze: In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, sauté garlic, then add lemon juice, zest, and honey. Let simmer briefly. Return chicken to glaze and toss.
- Boil the Pasta: Cook linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Make the Parmesan Sauce: In a pot or pan, melt a bit of butter, add cream (if using), then stir in parmesan until melted. Add pasta water to loosen.
- Combine and Serve: Toss linguine with sauce. Plate with lemon butter chicken. Garnish with parsley and more parmesan.
