Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter (not natural style)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
- Cream together peanut butter, butter, and both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Whisk together dry ingredients; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly with fork.
- Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers still soft.
- Cool on sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to rack.
