Description

Spicy Rattlesnake Pasta is a bold, creamy, and comforting pasta dish featuring tender penne, juicy Cajun-spiced chicken, and sweet red bell peppers all tossed in a rich, spicy Alfredo sauce. It’s a Southern-inspired meal that delivers heat and satisfaction in every bite.


Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1½ cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Slice chicken into strips and coat with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté red bell peppers for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  6. Return chicken and pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated and warmed through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
