Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season Chicken: Pat chicken dry and rub with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Rest and slice.
- Cook Pasta: Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Drain.
- Make Sauce: In the skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add Cheese: Stir in parmesan until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine: Toss pasta in sauce. Use reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
- Assemble: Plate pasta and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with parsley.
