1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/3 cups French fried onions (divided)

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and pepper until smooth.
3. Fold in the green beans gently until coated.
4. Stir in 2/3 cup of the French fried onions.
5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
6. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
7. Sprinkle remaining fried onions on top.
8. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes
For a cheesier twist, add 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar before baking.
Use fresh or frozen green beans for extra texture—just blanch before mixing.
If making ahead, stop before the final topping and add onions right before final bake.
