Ingredients
8 oz sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 cups cold cooked jasmine or long-grain rice
2 large eggs, beaten
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece ginger, minced
1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, scallions)
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
Sesame seeds and extra sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Slice steak and season lightly; pat shrimp dry.
- Heat oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Sear steak 2-3 min; remove. Cook shrimp 1-2 min per side; remove.
- Add oil, scramble eggs until just set; push to side.
- Add garlic, ginger, rice, and vegetables. Stir-fry until heated and slightly crisp.
- Return steak and shrimp. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss well and adjust seasoning.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve hot.
