Description

These Savory Cranberry and Brie Tartlets are a quick and elegant appetizer, perfect for holidays or cozy get-togethers. Buttery puff pastry holds creamy brie and tangy cranberry sauce in every bite-sized tartlet. Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

4 oz brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/3 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

fresh rosemary, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin pan.

2. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 2×2 inch squares.

3. Press each square into the muffin pan wells, corners overlapping slightly.

4. Place a cube of brie into the center of each pastry.

5. Top with 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce over the brie.

6. Brush exposed pastry edges with beaten egg.

7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and brie is melted.

8. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.

9. Garnish with rosemary sprigs, if using.

10. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Make sure the puff pastry stays cold for best flakiness.

Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter for clean pastry cuts.
