Description

A quick and elegant vegetable side, this roasted asparagus is crispy on the tips, tender on the inside, and full of garlicky flavor. It pairs well with nearly any main and comes together in just 15 minutes.


Ingredients

Asparagus (thick, fresh stalks preferred)

Olive Oil

Garlic (minced)

Sea Salt

Black Pepper

Lemon Zest (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash asparagus and snap off woody ends.
  3. Spread asparagus on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper.
  5. Roast for 12-15 minutes, until tips are crisp and stalks are tender.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle with lemon zest before serving.
