Description
A creamy, savory pasta dish made with tender fettuccine, rich Alfredo sauce, and hearty ground beef. Perfect for a satisfying and comforting weeknight dinner that the whole family will enjoy.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat and set the beef aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Let it simmer gently until it begins to thicken.
- Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Return the beef to the skillet and mix into the sauce. Add cooked fettuccine and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
- Serve warm with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
