Description

A creamy, nutty, and slightly spicy peanut sauce that’s ready in under 5 minutes. Perfect for dipping, drizzling, or tossing with noodles and veggies. Balanced with sweet, tangy, salty, and savory notes, this pantry-friendly recipe is a must-have in your rotation.

Ingredients

¼ cup creamy peanut butter

1½ tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice or rice vinegar

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

1 clove garlic, minced or grated

½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce or sriracha (adjust to taste)

24 tablespoons warm water (to thin)

Instructions

  1. 1. Add the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, maple syrup, garlic, ginger, and chili garlic sauce to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk everything together until smooth and combined.
  3. Gradually add warm water, one tablespoon at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired pourable consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust: more soy sauce for salt, lime juice for tang, sweetener to balance heat, or more sriracha if you like it spicy.
  5. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate or serve immediately.

Notes

If using natural peanut butter, stir well before measuring to avoid separation issues.

Sauce thickens in the fridge—add a splash of warm water before each use to refresh the texture.

Customize spice by adjusting the amount of sriracha or chili garlic sauce to your heat preference.
