Description

A no-bake layered dessert featuring an Oreo cookie crust, velvety ube-flavored cream cheese center, and a smooth purple glaze. Topped with whipped swirls and whole Oreos, it’s an eye-catching treat for any occasion—elegant, creamy, and surprisingly easy to make.


Ingredients

24 Oreo cookies, crushed (plus extra whole for garnish)

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

16 ounces cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup ube halaya or 2 teaspoons ube extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin

1/4 cup warm water (for dissolving gelatin)

A few drops purple gel food coloring (optional)

1 1/2 cups whipped topping (for piping)


Instructions

1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor. Mix with melted butter until well combined.

2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form a crust. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add ube halaya or extract, vanilla, and food coloring (if using).

4. Dissolve the gelatin in warm water, then stir it into the cream cheese mixture.

5. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold it into the ube cream cheese mixture to keep it airy.

6. Pour the filling over the chilled Oreo crust. Smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

7. Prepare the purple glaze using a small amount of gelatin, ube extract, and cream. Pour over the cheesecake and spread evenly. Chill until fully set.

8. Pipe whipped topping swirls on top using a star tip. Decorate with crushed Oreos and whole cookies.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a silky-smooth texture—cold cream cheese clumps easily.

Chill each layer thoroughly before adding the next to keep the layers distinct and clean.

Use high-quality gel food coloring to achieve bold purple tones without affecting texture.
