Description

This Potsticker Soup combines golden-crisp dumplings with a flavorful vegetable broth, loaded with carrots, celery, green peas, and finished with soy sauce and herbs. It’s a comforting, one-pot meal that delivers both warmth and texture in every bite.

Ingredients

810 frozen potstickers (pork, chicken, or vegetable)

1 tablespoon oil (for searing)

4 cups vegetable broth

2 carrots, diced

2 celery stalks, diced

1 cup green peas (frozen or fresh)

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

2 tablespoons soy sauce

Green onions or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add potstickers flat-side down and sear until golden and crisp, about 3-4 minutes per side. Set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat a bit more oil. Sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
  3. Add carrots and celery, cooking for 5 minutes to soften.
  4. Pour in vegetable broth and soy sauce. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add green peas and simmer 3-4 more minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Gently add seared potstickers to the pot and warm through. Serve hot, garnished with green onions or cilantro.
