Ingredients

2 cups pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)

2 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen, hulled)

12 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)

2 cups ice cubes (divided)

2 tablespoons lemon juice (divided)

½ cup water or coconut water (divided)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Wash and hull strawberries. Cut pineapple into chunks if fresh. Slightly thaw frozen fruit if needed.
  2. Blend Pineapple Layer: Blend pineapple, 1 cup ice, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and ¼ cup water or coconut water until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Blend Strawberry Layer: Blend strawberries, 1 cup ice, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and ¼ cup water or coconut water until smooth.
  4. Layer the Slushie: Spoon alternating layers of pineapple and strawberry slushie into glasses.
  5. Serve: Garnish with a fresh strawberry or pineapple slice. Serve immediately
