Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 ounces cream cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

6 slices provolone cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 large eggs

1/3 cup heavy cream

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

3. Add sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

5. Reduce heat and add cream cheese. Stir until melted and evenly combined. Add Worcestershire sauce and remove from heat.

6. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream.

7. Spread the beef and pepper mixture evenly in the prepared casserole dish. Pour the egg mixture over the top.

8. Layer with provolone cheese slices and sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly across the surface.

9. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

10. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Don’t skip the cream cheese—it’s what makes the filling creamy and holds everything together.

Let the casserole rest before slicing to keep it from falling apart.

For a more authentic flavor, substitute ground beef with thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin.
