1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground allspice
Salt and black pepper to taste
3 tbsp butter (for frying and gravy)
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds more. Let cool.

- Form into 1 to 1.5-inch meatballs.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high. Brown the meatballs in batches until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
