Description
Fudgy, rich, and swirled with creamy peanut butter, these Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies are the ultimate treat for chocolate lovers. Perfectly balanced between sweet and salty, they bake up with a shiny top and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Easy to make and even easier to devour.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan, melt the butter with 1/4 cup of the chocolate chips until smooth. Stir in the cocoa powder and let it cool slightly.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and frothy.
4. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Stir in vanilla extract.
5. Sift in the flour and salt, folding gently until just combined. Fold in the remaining chocolate chips.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top.
7. Warm the peanut butter slightly and spoon dollops over the batter. Swirl using a toothpick or skewer.
8. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
9. Cool in the pan before slicing. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For the best swirls, warm the peanut butter for 10–15 seconds in the microwave.
Don’t overbake—look for set edges and a soft center for perfect fudgy texture.
For clean slices, cool completely and wipe your knife between cuts.
