Description
A rich and comforting one-pot dinner featuring juicy steak bites, tender rotini pasta, and a creamy, spicy garlic butter sauce that comes together in under 40 minutes.
Ingredients
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
12 ounces rotini pasta
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
3 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak cubes until browned on all sides, then remove and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add paprika and chili flakes, stirring briefly.
3. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Add rotini and cook until just al dente, stirring occasionally.
4. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, and cook until slightly thickened. Add Parmesan and stir until melted.
5. Return steak to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra tenderness, let the seared steak rest while the pasta cooks to retain juices.
Adjust chili flakes to control spice level without losing flavor depth.
For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream and use lean steak cuts.
