Description

These No Bake Salted Caramel Pretzel Bars are the perfect combination of sweet, salty, crunchy, and chewy—all in one effortless dessert. With no baking required, they’re an easy treat layered with crunchy pretzels, rich caramel, and a smooth chocolate top, finished with a touch of flaky sea salt.

Ingredients

2 cups mini pretzels

11 oz soft caramels

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.

2. Arrange a tight, single layer of mini pretzels along the bottom. Break some to fill gaps if needed.

3. In a small saucepan, melt the caramels and heavy cream over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.

4. Pour the caramel evenly over the pretzel layer and use a spatula to spread.

5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

6. Pour melted chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly to the edges.

7. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top while chocolate is still soft.

8. Optional: Press in a few pretzels on top for decoration.

9. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour or until fully set.

10. Lift out using parchment and slice into bars to serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips or even swirl in peanut butter before setting.

Store in an airtight container between layers of parchment for clean, non-sticky stacking.

Want extra chew? Add an extra tablespoon of heavy cream to your caramel for a softer bite.
