Description

Morel Mushroom Pasta in Creamy Sauce is an indulgent dish combining earthy, nutty morel mushrooms with silky cream, parmesan, and perfectly cooked pasta. Every bite offers comforting richness and gourmet elegance, making it perfect for a cozy dinner or an impressive meal for guests.


Ingredients

200 g morel mushrooms

300 g linguine or fettuccine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

2 small shallots, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)


Instructions

1. Gently clean the morel mushrooms and slice large ones in half.

2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1 cup pasta water.

3. In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Sauté shallots and garlic until fragrant.

4. Add the morel mushrooms; cook until tender and lightly crisped.

5. Pour in heavy cream; simmer and thicken slightly. Stir in parmesan until smooth.

6. Toss in pasta, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.

7. Serve hot with extra parmesan and thyme garnish.

Notes

Serve hot. Pair with white wine or light red. Not recommended for freezing. Add truffle oil or white wine for extra luxury.
