Description

A rich and hearty quiche inspired by the Southern classic Mississippi Sin dip, loaded with bacon, ham, cheese, and vibrant vegetables in a creamy egg filling.


Ingredients

1 9-inch deep dish pie crust

1 cup cooked bacon, chopped

1/2 cup diced ham

1/4 cup green onions, sliced

1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

4 large eggs

1/2 cup whole milk or half-and-half

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and pre-bake the crust for 8 minutes.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy, dice ham and vegetables.
  3. Whisk cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, milk, and seasonings until smooth.
  4. Layer bacon, ham, veggies, and cheese in crust.
  5. Pour egg mixture over the top evenly.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until center is set and top is golden.
  7. Cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
