A rich and hearty quiche inspired by the Southern classic Mississippi Sin dip, loaded with bacon, ham, cheese, and vibrant vegetables in a creamy egg filling.
Ingredients
1 9-inch deep dish pie crust
1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
1/2 cup diced ham
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup frozen peas (optional)
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
4 large eggs
1/2 cup whole milk or half-and-half
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and pre-bake the crust for 8 minutes.
- Cook bacon until crispy, dice ham and vegetables.
- Whisk cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, milk, and seasonings until smooth.
- Layer bacon, ham, veggies, and cheese in crust.
- Pour egg mixture over the top evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until center is set and top is golden.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
