Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

2 tbsp maple syrup

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp chopped parsley


Instructions

1. Toss chicken with soy sauce, garlic, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Marinate for 15–20 minutes.

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Sear chicken until golden brown. Add maple syrup in the last minutes to coat the chicken.

3. Boil fettuccine until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.

4. In a clean pan, melt butter. Add cream and whisk. Stir in Cajun seasoning and Parmesan until smooth.

5. Toss pasta in Alfredo sauce. Add reserved water to loosen if needed.

6. Plate pasta with chicken bites. Garnish with parsley and chili flakes if desired.

Notes

Let the maple syrup simmer just enough to thicken — don’t overcook or it will burn.

Add Parmesan gradually to avoid clumping in the Alfredo.

If reheating, add a splash of cream to restore the sauce’s silky texture.
