Description

This Lipton Onion Soup Meatloaf delivers bold flavor in a simple, nostalgic package. Juicy ground beef is seasoned with the iconic soup mix and topped with a sweet and tangy glaze. A no-fuss, oven-baked meal perfect for busy weeknights or a hearty family dinner.


Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef (80/20)

1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix

3/4 cup breadcrumbs

2 eggs

3/4 cup water

1/3 cup ketchup (plus 1/3 cup for glaze)

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon mustard


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, water, and 1/3 cup ketchup.
  3. Form mixture into loaf shape in prepared pan.
  4. In a small bowl, mix remaining 1/3 cup ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for glaze.
  5. Spread glaze over top of meatloaf.
  6. Bake 55-60 minutes, until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
