Description
A bold, spicy, and savory noodle skillet dinner that comes together in just 20 minutes! Korean-Style Ground Beef Ramen layers umami-rich ground beef with chewy ramen noodles and a gochujang-infused sauce. Perfect for weeknight cravings or quick comfort food meals.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 packs instant ramen noodles (no seasoning)
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp sesame oil
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
1/4 cup water
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked.
2. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, and water. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
4. Meanwhile, boil ramen noodles in a separate saucepan according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
5. Add cooked noodles to the beef mixture. Toss until noodles are fully coated in sauce.
6. Drizzle in sesame oil, toss once more, and remove from heat.
7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
Don’t skip draining the noodles separately—it prevents soggy textures and keeps the sauce flavorful.
For more heat, add a teaspoon of gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) or extra gochujang.
A soft-boiled egg on top takes this to another level and makes it even more satisfying.
