Ingredients

Salad:

4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup pepperoncini, sliced

½ cup red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup provolone cheese, cubed

½ cup mozzarella cheese, cubed

½ cup salami, chopped

½ cup ham, chopped

½ cup turkey, chopped

¼ cup crispy bacon bits

½ cup croutons (optional)

Dressing:

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp Dijon mustard

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp dried oregano

½ tsp dried basil

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients
    • Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large mixing bowl.
    • Slice the cherry tomatoes, red onion, and pepperoncini.
    • Cut the provolone and mozzarella cheese into small cubes.
    • Chop the salami, ham, and turkey into similar-sized pieces.
  2. Make the Dressing
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
    • Add the garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Assemble the Salad
    • Add the chopped meats, cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and pepperoncini to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.
    • Toss everything together to distribute the ingredients evenly.
  4. Add the Dressing
    • Pour the dressing over the salad and mix thoroughly, ensuring every piece is well coated.
  5. Finish and Serve
    • Sprinkle crispy bacon bits on top for extra crunch.
