Ingredients

Chicken breast or thigh

Honey

Garlic (minced)

Soy sauce

Rice vinegar (or lemon juice)

Green beans

Mushrooms (sliced)

Olive oil or sesame oil

Red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prep and Cook the Chicken: Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Sear in hot skillet with olive oil until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat. Add minced garlic, then stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer until slightly thickened. Return chicken to coat with sauce.
  3. Cook the Mushrooms: In another pan, saute sliced mushrooms in oil until browned and tender.
  4. Blanch and Sauté Green Beans: Boil green beans for 2-3 minutes, rinse with cold water. Sauté with garlic and a pinch of salt.
  5. Assemble: Serve chicken, mushrooms, and green beans together in bowls. Spoon extra glaze over top.
