Description
This Homemade Cranberry Honey Butter is a rich, creamy spread infused with the sweetness of honey and the tart pop of dried cranberries. Perfect for holiday brunches, charcuterie boards, or simply brightening up your morning toast. It’s quick to make, easy to store, and irresistibly festive.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 tablespoons honey
1/3 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
1. Leave the butter at room temperature for 30–60 minutes until softened.
2. Finely chop the dried cranberries with a sharp knife or kitchen scissors.
3. In a medium bowl, whip the softened butter using a hand or stand mixer until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
4. Add the honey and chopped cranberries to the whipped butter. Mix again until fully incorporated.
5. Taste the butter and add a pinch of salt if desired, or more honey for extra sweetness.
6. Transfer the mixture into a jar or airtight container. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
Notes
Make sure the butter is truly room temperature to avoid lumps and ensure a smooth blend.
Chop the cranberries finely so they distribute evenly and don’t clump together in the mix.
For an elevated version, add orange zest or a dash of cinnamon for a spiced holiday twist.
