Description
These Halloween Jello Shots are a fun, festive way to serve spooky treats at your next party. With ghostly shapes and a wiggly texture, they’re perfect for both kids and adults. Customize them with or without alcohol, and decorate with eerie faces for that Halloween magic!
Ingredients
1 box flavored gelatin (3 oz, strawberry, cherry, or raspberry)
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water *(or ½ cup cold water + ½ cup vodka for adult version)*
1–2 drops black food coloring *or* a few candy eyes and decorations
non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of boiling water over the gelatin mix. Whisk until fully dissolved (about 2 minutes).
2. Add 1 cup of cold water. For a boozy version, replace half with vodka or rum. Mix thoroughly.
3. Lightly spray silicone molds or plastic shot cups with non-stick spray.
4. Pour the mixture into molds, leaving a little space at the top.
5. Place molds in the fridge and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
6. Once firm, remove jello shots from molds carefully.
7. Add ghost faces using black food coloring and a dropper, or attach candy eyes and decorations.
8. Serve chilled on a white tray or platter.
Notes
Use silicone molds for the easiest release.
For defined faces, use a dropper and gel food coloring after chilling.
Avoid freezing—jello loses its texture and turns watery once thawed.
