Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juice)
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until soft.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Mix in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain.
- Stir the macaroni into the sauce and simmer together for 5-10 more minutes.
