Description
A fast and flavorful dinner combining tender seared steak with buttery garlic noodles. This dish comes together in under 30 minutes and delivers indulgent, restaurant-worthy flavors right at home.
Ingredients
12 oz ribeye, sirloin, or strip steak
8 oz spaghetti or linguine
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Grated Parmesan (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Pat steak dry, season with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet with a bit of oil, 2-3 minutes per side. Let rest.
- In the same skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook 30 seconds.
- Toss noodles in garlic butter sauce, adding pasta water as needed.
- Slice steak thinly against the grain. Serve over noodles, topped with parsley and Parmesan.
