Ingredients
1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak
8 ounces rotini or fusilli noodles
4 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
1. Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until a crust forms and desired doneness is achieved.
4. Remove steak from skillet and let rest on a cutting board.
5. Meanwhile, cook the noodles in salted boiling water until al dente.
6. Drain noodles, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.

10. If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
11. Slice rested steak thinly against the grain.
