Description
This Garlic Butter Beef Pasta is a rich, savory comfort dish featuring seasoned ground beef, silky garlic butter sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. It’s an easy one-pan dinner that feels indulgent yet takes under 30 minutes to make. Ideal for weeknights or meal prep.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz linguine or spaghetti
3 tbsp unsalted butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt the butter, then add minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Return the beef to the skillet. Add drained pasta and toss to coat in garlic butter. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce as needed.
5. Stir in parmesan and parsley. Adjust seasoning. Serve hot with extra cheese and herbs.
Notes
Freshly grate your parmesan — pre-shredded doesn’t melt as smoothly.
Don’t overcook the garlic; keep it lightly golden for best flavor.
A splash of cream can be added for extra richness if using leaner meat.
