English Muffin Pizzas are the ultimate quick-fix comfort food. These mini pizzas use toasted English muffins as the base and are topped with zesty tomato sauce, melty mozzarella, and your favorite toppings like pepperoni or veggies. Perfect for weeknights, snacks, or even as party appetizers, they come together in just minutes and deliver all the satisfaction of a classic pizza with none of the hassle.
Ingredients
1 English muffin per 2 mini pizzas
2 tablespoons pizza sauce
⅓ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
8–10 mini pepperoni slices (optional)
¼ teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Optional toppings: sliced olives, diced bell peppers, mushrooms, red chili flakes
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Split English muffins in half and toast them for 5 minutes.
2. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over each muffin half.
3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
4. Add mini pepperoni or your favorite toppings.
5. Place the muffin halves on a lined baking sheet.
6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
7. Remove from oven, let cool for 2 minutes, garnish with oregano or chili flakes, and serve.
Notes
For crispier bottoms, pre-toast the English muffins before adding any toppings.
Avoid overloading with sauce or toppings to keep them from getting soggy.
These can be frozen before baking and cooked straight from frozen at 400°F for 12–14 minutes.
