Ingredients
1 ½ pounds ground beef (80/20)
1 box stuffing mix (herb seasoned, 6 oz)
2 large eggs
1 cup water or beef broth
½ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a loaf pan or baking dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, stuffing mix, eggs, water or broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
3. Shape mixture into a loaf and transfer to the prepared pan.
4. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the loaf.
5. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Don’t overmix the meat mixture—mix just until combined for the most tender texture.
Let the meatloaf rest after baking to help it slice cleanly.
For extra flavor, swap half the ketchup glaze with BBQ sauce.
