Description

Easy Saucy Ramen Noodles is a quick and flavorful dish perfect for weeknight cravings or a fast lunch. It transforms basic instant noodles into a rich and satisfying meal, coated in a glossy soy-based sauce that’s sweet, salty, and just a touch spicy.


Ingredients

2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)

1 tbsp vegetable oil or sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

1 tbsp dark soy sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar or honey

1/2 tsp chili flakes or chili oil (optional)

1/4 cup water or reserved noodle cooking water

Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Boil water and cook the ramen noodles for 2–3 minutes. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
  2. Mix soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sugar/honey, and chili flakes/oil in a bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add noodles to the skillet, pour in sauce and reserved water, and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
