Easy Saucy Ramen Noodles is a quick and flavorful dish perfect for weeknight cravings or a fast lunch. It transforms basic instant noodles into a rich and satisfying meal, coated in a glossy soy-based sauce that’s sweet, salty, and just a touch spicy.
Ingredients
2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
1 tbsp vegetable oil or sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
1/2 tsp chili flakes or chili oil (optional)
1/4 cup water or reserved noodle cooking water
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water and cook the ramen noodles for 2–3 minutes. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
- Mix soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sugar/honey, and chili flakes/oil in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a skillet and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add noodles to the skillet, pour in sauce and reserved water, and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
