Description

This Easy Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi is a restaurant-quality dish made in just under 30 minutes. Juicy shrimp are seared in garlic butter and tossed with linguine in a white wine sauce. Elegant, simple, and bursting with flavor, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or special dinners alike.

Ingredients

12 oz linguine or fettuccine

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

1/3 cup white wine or chicken broth

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine or fettuccine until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Transfer to a plate.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter and minced garlic. Stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

4. Pour in white wine (or broth). Simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.

5. Return shrimp to skillet, then add cooked pasta. Toss everything gently to coat in sauce.

6. Add lemon juice, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes if using. Adjust seasoning to taste.

7. Serve immediately with optional grated Parmesan or lemon zest.

Notes

Make sure to pat shrimp dry before searing to get the best color and texture.

Don’t overcook the garlic—30 seconds is enough before adding liquid to avoid bitterness.

Toss pasta gently to keep the shrimp whole and the sauce creamy.
