Easy Creamy Velveeta Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce

Description

A rich, creamy pasta dish made with bowtie pasta, grilled chicken, Velveeta, mozzarella, and a garlic-infused cream sauce. A 30-minute comfort meal that’s easy enough for weeknights and delicious enough to impress guests.


Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

3/4 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sear in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat until cooked through. Set aside and slice into chunks.

2. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup pasta water.

3. In a saucepan, sauté minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant. Add heavy cream, then whisk in Velveeta until smooth.

4. Stir in mozzarella and whisk until fully melted and stretchy.

5. Fold cooked pasta into the sauce, tossing to coat. Add pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

6. Plate the pasta and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure the pasta is al dente to avoid a mushy texture when mixed with sauce.

Use freshly minced garlic for the most aromatic and flavorful result.

If the sauce thickens too much, add a bit of reserved pasta water or extra cream to bring it back.
