Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (85-90% lean)

1/2 head green cabbage, chopped

3 tablespoons soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for cooking)


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart, until fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add chopped cabbage and stir to coat with sauce. Cook for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with green onions. Stir and serve hot.
