Description

This Easy Chicken Lo Mein recipe is a quick, flavorful stir-fry packed with tender chicken, chewy noodles, and vibrant vegetables. It’s perfect for weeknight dinners and ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

8 oz lo mein noodles

1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 teaspoons brown sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

1 cup snow peas

1 cup bell peppers, sliced

2 green onions, chopped

2 tablespoons cooking oil


Instructions

1. Slice chicken and chop all vegetables. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.

2. Cook lo mein noodles in boiling water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water. Toss lightly with oil.

3. Heat a wok or skillet with 1 tablespoon oil. Sear chicken until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same pan, heat remaining oil. Add garlic and ginger, then bell peppers and snow peas. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

5. Add noodles and chicken back into the pan. Pour in the sauce and toss well to coat everything.

6. Remove from heat. Stir in green onions. Serve hot.

Notes

Make sure all ingredients are prepped before you start cooking. Stir-frying moves fast!

Don’t overcook the noodles or they’ll become mushy when tossed.

You can swap chicken for shrimp, beef, or tofu to switch up the flavor.
