This Dill Pickle Hot Sauce is a unique fusion of briny tang and spicy heat, perfect for adding a bold punch to anything from burgers to salads. Made with fresh dill, garlic, vinegar, and hot peppers, it’s a homemade sauce that delivers crunch-inspired flavor with a fiery twist.


Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh dill

3 garlic cloves

1/2 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup water

3/4 cup chopped dill pickles or pickling cucumbers

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

2 hot peppers (jalapeño, serrano, or habanero)


Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the pickles, garlic, hot peppers, and dill.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth. Add more water to adjust consistency if needed.
  4. Pour mixture into a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
  5. Simmer for 10-15 minutes to thicken and meld flavors.
  6. Optional: Strain the sauce through a fine mesh strainer for a smooth texture.
  7. Let it cool, then bottle and refrigerate.
