Description

This *Delicious Amish Broccoli Salad* is the ultimate cold salad—crisp broccoli and cauliflower florets, smoky bacon, sharp cheddar, and red onions tossed in a creamy, tangy-sweet dressing. Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

2 cups cauliflower florets

6 slices crispy bacon, crumbled

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup finely diced red onion

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Rinse broccoli and cauliflower, then chop into bite-sized florets.

2. Dice the red onion and set aside.

3. Fry the bacon until crispy, then crumble and divide into two portions.

4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.

5. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower, red onion, cheddar, and half of the bacon.
