The glaze combines sweet honey, zesty Dijon mustard, and a hint of garlic, making this a weeknight favorite with gourmet-level taste. Perfectly cooked in the air fryer with no mess, no guesswork.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to help the glaze adhere better.
3. Place the fillets skin-side down on a clean tray or plate.
4. Using a basting brush or spoon, generously coat the top and sides of each fillet with the glaze.
5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes.
6. Carefully transfer the salmon fillets to the air fryer basket, skin-side down.
7. Air fry for 7–10 minutes depending on thickness, until the glaze is bubbling and the salmon is cooked through.
8. Use a spatula to remove the salmon gently.
9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
For best results, don’t overcrowd the air fryer—cook in batches if needed.
You can prep the glaze up to 2 days ahead and store it in the fridge.
Use a thermometer to check doneness—125°F for medium, 145°F for well done.
