These Deep Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Wonton Bites deliver a crunchy shell filled with smooth, sweet cheesecake filling, topped with fresh strawberries and dusted with powdered sugar. A perfect handheld treat for gatherings or a sweet bite-sized indulgence at home.
Ingredients
20 square wonton wrappers
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar (plus more for dusting)
1 tsp vanilla extract
8–10 fresh strawberries, halved or quartered
Vegetable or canola oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until creamy and lump-free. Chill slightly.
- Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten edges with water, fold diagonally or into a pouch, and seal tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry wontons in batches, 1-2 minutes per side, until golden. Drain on paper towels.
- Top each with a strawberry piece and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
