Description
This Crusty Garlic Bread is everything a side dish should be—crispy, buttery, garlicky, and incredibly easy to make. It’s the perfect companion to pasta, soups, or just eaten on its own straight from the oven. With a crunchy exterior and a tender, flavorful center, this bread will disappear faster than you expect.
Ingredients
1 loaf crusty bread (baguette or ciabatta)
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Slice the loaf into thick slices, about 1 to 1.5 inches, leaving the bottom intact for a pull-apart effect if desired.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, olive oil, parsley, and salt until fully blended.
4. Use a pastry brush or spoon to generously apply the garlic butter between and on top of the bread slices.
5. Place the bread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp on the edges.
7. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use day-old bread for better texture and crispiness.
Make the garlic butter ahead and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To add a twist, sprinkle grated Parmesan or red pepper flakes before baking.
