Golden, crispy chicken breasts coated with Parmesan and panko are pan-fried to perfection and smothered in a creamy garlic sauce. This indulgent dinner is both comforting and elegant, perfect for any night you want a meal that truly satisfies.
Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved horizontally)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally. Pound to even thickness.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a Parmesan-panko mix. Season each.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, and coat in the Parmesan-panko mix.
- Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium. Fry chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth, simmer 2 minutes. Stir in cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet or plate and spoon sauce over. Garnish with parsley
