Description

Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Tenders deliver all the flavor and crunch of fried chicken but are baked for a lighter alternative. Juicy on the inside with a golden, crunchy exterior, they are perfect for weeknight dinners or a fun party platter.


Ingredients

Chicken Tenders

Buttermilk

Panko Breadcrumbs

Cornflakes (crushed)

Grated Parmesan

All-Purpose Flour

Eggs

Dried Herbs (thyme, oregano, parsley)

Salt and Pepper

Cooking Spray or Olive Oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack on top.
  2. Marinate chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare three bowls: seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture (panko, crushed cornflakes, Parmesan, herbs).
  4. Dredge tenders: flour → egg → breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to coat well.
  5. Arrange on prepared sheet or rack. Spray with cooking spray or drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
