Chicken Tenders
Buttermilk
Panko Breadcrumbs
Cornflakes (crushed)
Grated Parmesan
All-Purpose Flour
Eggs
Dried Herbs (thyme, oregano, parsley)
Salt and Pepper
Cooking Spray or Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack on top.
- Marinate chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare three bowls: seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture (panko, crushed cornflakes, Parmesan, herbs).
- Dredge tenders: flour → egg → breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to coat well.
- Arrange on prepared sheet or rack. Spray with cooking spray or drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
